for this week's illustration friday. this is an image and story that has been with me awhile, about a little girl who get taken away by her umbrella on a rainy (and rather windy) day to go on a fantastical adventure.

I love my job, but sometimes I get sad staring at photoshop all day and rather be skipping outside in a meadow. But I can always settle on an ice coffee break. yum yum.

It's spring!

New illustration! I read that some cultures believe that the roots of orchids resemble hands, that's what inspired this piece. It's done like a mosaic with hand colored paper that was cut and then glued. fun fun!

This week's illustration friday. Polar made me think of polar opposites. I got a little experimental with the technique, it's kinda different for me, i like it.

I recently discovered this website called Illustration Friday every week there is a topic and people can submit/share their illustrations for the given topic. This week it is "Fortune."
The above is my interpretation of fortune, inspired by the ups and downs of the ocean and for every up--there is a down.
