I haven't posted anything all summer, but that always seems to be the case.
Well now it's just about fall and time to get some work done, eh?

So, say hello to Marta and Ned, some characters from a story I'm working on.

I can't stop talking about talking to myself

A more cerebral turn this month as I ramble
in a slightly more organized fashion about
why oh why, are we always talking to ourselves?!

I'm fascinated in a sick way by this topic,
if you have any insight I'd love to hear it!

my artwork on Conan = nerdy squeal of delight

Months and months ago I did some fan art of Conan O'Brien
and then yesterday that very piece showed up on the television!
I'm so honored that who ever is in charge of picking out the fan art
that appears on the show, picked mine. Thanks interns! :)

To see it on the team coco website click HERE.
Or check out the Tina Fey episode to see it,
it pops up right before her interview!

A Doodle For An Oodle

Okay so apparently, i write sometimes now.
I have a new article up at starvingtalent.com

you can read it HERE

Starting next Wednesday I'm going to be contributing a
monthly column to starvingtalent.com.

I'll be talking about different artsy things on my mind,
about being an illustrator and designer in today's world and
whatever other random thoughts drift in...

so stay tuned, there will
be much pointless rambling in the future!

true things about when i was a kid.

i sat outside my house and tried to sell my artwork.
believe it or not, i made 25 cents!

i had a fantasy of conducting my very own dog, and sometimes bird, symphony.

i got carried away and drew on a pillow, a fancy velour throw pillow, with permanent marker.
(i. got. in. so. much. trouble.)

windy days are good days to pretend you are a mermaid.

hello spring time

It's officially spring, i think, right?
well, maybe not.
But, today I ran away from my desk to enjoy
some premature spring time sunshine
at the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

and I got to break in my new red spring shoes!
yay, small accomplishments!
